FTMO Futures PRO Plan: Rules, Pricing and Payouts

The FTMO Futures PRO plan is one of the two core plans in FTMO's futures line, built for experienced traders seeking maximum efficiency. It is a monthly subscription with no activation fee, available in 50K, 100K and 150K, with the largest drawdown allowance and the strongest payout terms of the two plans. In exchange it applies a hard daily loss limit in both the evaluation and the funded account.

1 : 1 Equal profit target and drawdown on the 50K. A $3,000 target against $3,000 of maximum drawdown: the account gives you as much room to be wrong as it asks you to be right. FTMO describes this ratio as market-unique.

Direct answer

PRO's case is the profit-target-to-drawdown ratio

On PRO 50K the profit target ($3,000) and the maximum drawdown ($3,000) are the same number. That is the 1:1 ratio FTMO describes as market-unique, and the standout number of the whole FTMO Futures launch.

That balance tightens on the larger sizes: 1.33:1 at 100K and 1.5:1 at 150K. If the ratio is your main reason for choosing PRO, the 50K is where that argument is strongest.

The counterweight is risk control. PRO applies a hard daily loss limit in both the evaluation and the funded account, and a 50% consistency rule during the evaluation. It is a plan for traders who already work with a defined risk process.

The plan

What the FTMO Futures PRO plan is

FTMO Futures PRO is one of the two core plans FTMO is launching in the futures segment. It is a monthly subscription with no activation fee, available in three account sizes: 50K, 100K and 150K.

Its defining characteristic is the amount of drawdown room it gives relative to the profit target. Alongside that, it carries the stronger payout terms of the two plans: 100% withdrawals, a 90/10 ratio and payout caps from $5,000 to $8,000 depending on size.

Drawdown on PRO is end-of-day (EOD) trailing with no intraday trailing, and FTMO states the trailing locks at the starting balance. This is not a fixed drawdown model: the line still moves at the close of each day. What it does mean is that intraday equity peaks do not push the drawdown level up.

There is no minimum number of trading days on any size, and no consistency rule once the account is funded: the 50% rule applies to the evaluation only. Plan around that 50%: a single outsized winning session can hold up a pass even when the profit target has been reached. You can model scenarios with the consistency calculator.

The maximum drawdown carries over unchanged from the evaluation to the funded account, as does the hard daily loss limit. The consistency rule does not: there is no consistency requirement on a funded PRO account. A maximum of three concurrent accounts applies on every size.

Min new profit per request50% of the requested amount, in each payout cycle, on every size

How to read this in practice. Eligibility requires five qualifying days, each above the per-day profit threshold for your account size: $200 on 50K, $300 on 100K, $500 on 150K. Payout requests run on a 5-day cycle. The withdrawal percentage is 100%, and the split is 90/10 in the trader's favour. Each request is capped at $5,000, $6,000 or $8,000 depending on size, and every request within a cycle requires new profit of at least 50% of the amount being requested.

Note that the per-day threshold rises more steeply than the account size in relative terms: from $200 on a 50K to $500 on a 150K. Pick the size whose threshold your normal winning days clear, rather than the largest account available.

Fit

Who PRO is for (and who it isn't)

A good fit if

  • You already have a defined risk process: fixed invalidation points, consistent position sizing and the discipline to stop when a session goes wrong.
  • You want the largest drawdown allowance in FTMO Futures: a 1:1 ratio on the 50K.
  • Payout terms come first for you: 100% withdrawals and caps from $5,000 to $8,000.
  • A hard daily loss limit costs you nothing in practice because you do not expect to hit it in normal conditions.

A weaker fit if

  • Your daily results are uneven by design: several small losing days before a larger winner run into a hard daily loss limit.
  • You prefer an evaluation with no daily loss limit: that is the GROWTH plan structure.
  • The monthly price is your priority: PRO is the more expensive of the two plans at every size.
  • Your strategy concentrates results in very few sessions: the 50% evaluation consistency rule can hold up a pass.

Comparison

FTMO Futures PRO vs GROWTH

Both FTMO Futures plans share profit targets, EOD trailing drawdown, a 90/10 ratio, contract limits and no consistency rule on the funded account. What changes is where the room sits and where the restriction sits.

What is the FTMO Futures PRO plan?

It is one of the two core FTMO Futures plans, built for experienced traders seeking maximum efficiency. It is a monthly subscription with no activation fee, available in 50K, 100K and 150K, with the largest drawdown allowance and the strongest payout terms in the line.

How much does FTMO Futures PRO cost?

$139 per month for the 50K, $199 for the 100K and $269 for the 150K. The reset fee is $129, $189 and $259 respectively. There is no activation fee on any size.

What is the 1:1 ratio on FTMO Futures PRO?

On PRO 50K the profit target is $3,000 and the maximum drawdown is also $3,000: the account gives you as much room to be wrong as it asks you to be right. FTMO describes that ratio as market-unique. The ratio is 1.33:1 at 100K and 1.5:1 at 150K.

Does FTMO Futures PRO have a daily loss limit?

Yes, and it is hard: $1,000 on the 50K, $1,500 on the 100K and $2,000 on the 150K, in both the evaluation and the funded account. Breaching it ends the account rather than pausing it.

What drawdown does FTMO Futures PRO use?

An end-of-day (EOD) trailing maximum drawdown with no intraday trailing. FTMO states that on PRO the trailing locks at the starting balance. It is not a fixed drawdown: the line moves at the close of each day.

Does FTMO Futures PRO have a consistency rule?

Only during the evaluation, at 50%. Once funded, a PRO account applies no consistency rule.

How do payouts work on a funded FTMO Futures PRO account?

You need five days with profit above your size's threshold ($200 on the 50K, $300 on the 100K and $500 on the 150K). Payouts run on a 5-day cycle, withdrawals are 100% on a 90/10 ratio and each request is capped at $5,000, $6,000 or $8,000. Every request requires new profit of at least 50% of the amount being requested.

How many contracts and accounts does FTMO Futures PRO allow?

Up to 5 contracts on the 50K, 10 on the 100K and 15 on the 150K, and a maximum of three concurrent accounts on any size.
