FTMO Futures Review 2026: PRO and GROWTH Plans, Rules & Pricing
· By Agustin Bianciotti
FTMO Futures is the new futures product line from FTMO, one of the most established names in prop trading. It launches with two plans, PRO and GROWTH, each in 50K, 100K and 150K, both on a monthly subscription with no activation fee. This review brings together pricing, evaluation rules, funded account rules and payout mechanics exactly as FTMO publishes them, plus our read on who each plan actually suits.
One thing to flag upfront, because this site is built on discount codes: FTMO Futures launches without a discount code. There is no PROPSCOPE code here and no percentage off to chase. What FTMO brings instead is its reputation and a rule set that is unusual in a few specific places. This review is about whether those two things are worth your money on their own merits.

On PRO, breaching the daily loss limit ends the account, in both the evaluation and the funded account.
Soft limit once funded: it locks the day without closing the account. The trade-off is a tighter drawdown and 50% withdrawals.
Consistency (50% PRO, 40% GROWTH) only applies during the evaluation.
FTMO enters the futures segment
For anyone comparing futures prop firms, the arrival of FTMO Futures matters on its own. FTMO is a reference name in prop trading and, until now, it had not offered a futures product line. A firm with that standing moving into futures is a genuine shift for the segment, and it is worth understanding properly before you decide anything.
We have gone through the full product data for both plans FTMO is launching, PRO and GROWTH, across all three account sizes. Below is the complete breakdown: pricing, evaluation rules, funded account rules and payout mechanics, exactly as FTMO publishes them.
Who FTMO is
FTMO is built on the idea of modern prop trading: traders test their skills in a simulated market environment without risking their own money. You start on a demo account that mirrors real market conditions and follow clear, strict rules focused on risk management and discipline.
Through a structured evaluation process, FTMO tests whether a trader can operate consistently and responsibly over time. Traders who demonstrate the required skill, discipline and consistency may earn real financial rewards, even though the trading itself takes place in a simulated environment.
Traders test their skills in a demo market that mirrors real conditions, without risking personal capital.
A structured path that rewards skill and consistency rather than a single favourable result.
FTMO is known as the “Gold Standard” for payout stability, infrastructure quality and customer support.
That last point is the reason this launch deserves attention. In a segment where a trader's main concern is whether the firm will still be paying in twelve months, FTMO arrives with an established payout record and an established support operation behind it. For traders who weigh stability and payout reputation above headline numbers, that is the single most relevant fact about FTMO Futures.
The product line: PRO and GROWTH
FTMO is entering the futures segment with two distinct plans, each available in three account sizes: 50K, 100K and 150K. Both are monthly subscriptions and neither charges an activation fee.
FTMO Futures PRO
- The core plan for experienced traders seeking maximum efficiency
- Larger drawdown allowance: 1:1 ratio on the 50K
- 100% withdrawals and higher payout caps
- Hard daily loss limit in both the evaluation and the funded account
FTMO Futures GROWTH
- The core plan for the wider trading population, using industry-standard mechanics
- Lower entry price: from $119/month
- No daily loss limit during the evaluation; soft daily loss limit once funded
- Tighter maximum drawdown and lower payout caps
The structural difference in one sentence: PRO gives you more room against the drawdown and better payout terms at a higher price; GROWTH gives you a lower price and fewer restrictions during the evaluation, with tighter drawdown and more modest payout terms.
Both plans share the same drawdown model: end-of-day (EOD) trailing, with no intraday trailing. On PRO, FTMO states the trailing locks at the starting balance. This is not fixed drawdown, and you should not plan around it as if it were, since it still moves at the close of each day, but it does mean the drawdown line is not being dragged upward by intraday equity peaks.
If you are already choosing between the two, the PRO vs GROWTH comparison sums up which plan fits which trader profile.

Read the profit-target-to-drawdown ratio row carefully, because it is the headline of this plan. On PRO 50K you get a $3,000 profit target against a $3,000 maximum drawdown: a 1:1 ratio, which FTMO describes as market-unique. In practice it means the account gives you as much room to be wrong as it asks you to be right. That ratio tightens as the account grows (1.33:1 at 100K and 1.5:1 at 150K), so the 50K is the size where this plan's core argument is strongest. Full detail on the PRO plan page.

Note: FTMO confirms the per-day profit threshold for payout eligibility on the GROWTH 50K at $150 or more. The thresholds for the 100K and 150K sizes scale with account size but are not confirmed at the time of writing, so they are left marked above rather than estimated. The number of qualifying days (4) and the payout frequency (every 4 days) are confirmed on all three sizes.
The GROWTH structure has a clear internal logic. During the evaluation there is no daily loss limit at all: only the maximum drawdown and the 40% consistency rule apply. Once you are funded, a daily loss limit appears, but it is soft: a bad day locks trading for that day rather than closing the account. The account survives. That is a meaningfully different failure mode from a hard limit, and it is the main reason a trader with uneven daily results might prefer GROWTH. Full detail on the GROWTH plan page.
Reasons to consider FTMO Futures
📐 Room to breathe
- PRO 50K: a 1:1 profit-target-to-drawdown ratio, the standout number in this launch.
- EOD trailing with no intraday trailing, plus a trailing lock at the starting balance on PRO.
- GROWTH: no evaluation daily loss limit and a soft one once funded; fewer dollars of drawdown, but fewer ways to lose the account in a single session.
💰 Payout conditions
- PRO: 100% withdrawals on a 90/10 ratio, with caps from $5,000 (50K) to $8,000 (150K).
- GROWTH: 4-day payout cycle, 90/10 ratio, 50% withdrawals and caps from $2,500 to $4,000.
- On both plans, each request requires new profit of at least 50% of the amount being requested.
🧭 A plan for every trader
- The two plans are not a premium version and a budget version of the same thing.
- PRO ($139 to $269/month): more drawdown room, 100% withdrawals and higher caps, with a hard daily loss limit.
- GROWTH (from $119/month): no evaluation daily loss limit, a soft funded limit and more modest payout terms.
🏛️ Proven reliability
- The rule sheet is only half the decision.
- The other half is whether the firm behind it is stable, pays reliably and answers when something goes wrong.
- That is the ground FTMO has spent years building its reputation on: payout stability, infrastructure quality and customer support.
These are the published terms. They are not a promise about when any individual trader reaches a payout: that depends entirely on your own results and on meeting every rule in the tables above.
What to understand before you buy
A few points deserve to be read twice, so nobody arrives at them by surprise:
- The drawdown is EOD trailing, not fixed. On both plans the maximum drawdown trails at the end of each day. On PRO, FTMO states the trailing locks at the starting balance. Treat the drawdown line as a liquidation level, not as a cushion that stays where you left it.
- PRO's daily loss limit is hard, on both the evaluation and the funded account. Breaching it is not a pause. GROWTH's funded daily loss limit is soft and locks trading for the day instead.
- GROWTH withdraws 50%, PRO withdraws 100%. On identical profit, the amount you can take out of a GROWTH account is materially lower, and the caps are lower too.
- Consistency rules apply during the evaluation on both plans (50% on PRO and 40% on GROWTH), and neither plan applies a consistency rule once funded.
- Both plans are monthly subscriptions. The reset fee is a separate cost if you need one: $109 to $259 depending on plan and size.
FTMO Futures FAQ: plans, rules and payouts
FTMO Futures is FTMO's futures evaluation line. Trading takes place in a simulated environment and there are two plans, PRO and GROWTH, each available in 50K, 100K and 150K accounts, on a monthly subscription with no activation fee.
The PRO plan costs $139, $199 and $269 per month for 50K, 100K and 150K. The GROWTH plan costs $119, $169 and $229 per month for the same sizes. Neither charges an activation fee. A reset is a separate cost: $129 to $259 on PRO and $109 to $219 on GROWTH depending on size.
PRO gives more drawdown room (a 1:1 ratio on the 50K), 100% withdrawals and higher payout caps, in exchange for a higher price and a hard daily loss limit in both the evaluation and the funded account. GROWTH is cheaper, has no daily loss limit during the evaluation and a soft one once funded, with a tighter drawdown, 50% withdrawals and lower caps. The PRO vs GROWTH comparison breaks it down by trader profile.
Both plans use an end-of-day (EOD) trailing maximum drawdown, calculated at the close of each day with no intraday trailing. On PRO, FTMO states the trailing locks at the starting balance. It is not a fixed drawdown: the line still moves at the close of each session.
It depends on the plan. PRO has a hard limit of $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 depending on size, in both the evaluation and the funded account, and breaching it ends the account. GROWTH has no daily loss limit during the evaluation; on the funded account it applies a soft limit of $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 that locks trading for the day without closing the account.
Only during the evaluation: 50% on PRO and 40% on GROWTH. Neither plan applies a consistency rule once the account is funded.
No. Neither PRO nor GROWTH requires a minimum number of trading days in the evaluation, on any of the three account sizes.
On PRO, eligibility requires 5 days with profit of $200, $300 or $500 or more depending on size, payouts run on a 5-day cycle, withdrawals are 100% and the payout cap ranges from $5,000 to $8,000. On GROWTH, eligibility requires 4 profitable days ($150 or more per day on the 50K), payouts run on a 4-day cycle, withdrawals are 50% and the cap ranges from $2,500 to $4,000. Both use a 90/10 ratio, and each request requires new profit of at least 50% of the amount requested.
Up to three concurrent accounts on both plans and every size. Contract limits are 5, 10 and 15 on the 50K, 100K and 150K, identical on PRO and GROWTH.
The 50K on either plan. On PRO it is the size with the best profit-target-to-drawdown ratio (1:1), and on GROWTH it is the lowest-cost entry ($119 per month). Scaling up to 100K or 150K makes sense once your daily results comfortably clear that size's payout threshold.
Verdict: is FTMO Futures worth it?
Our FTMO Futures rating
What sets FTMO Futures apart is not a single number, it is the combination of an established payout reputation with a rule set that gives a trader room to operate. On PRO 50K, the 1:1 profit-target-to-drawdown ratio with 100% withdrawals and a $5,000 payout cap is a strong package for a trader who can work inside a hard daily loss limit. On GROWTH, a $119 entry with no evaluation daily loss limit and a soft funded limit is a sensible structure for a trader who wants industry-standard mechanics at a lower monthly commitment.
There is no discount code on this one, and there is no need to pretend otherwise. What is on the table is a firm with a long-standing payout record entering futures with clear, published rules. If stability and transparency are what you rank first, FTMO Futures belongs on your shortlist. If your decision is driven mainly by the lowest possible entry cost, work through the GROWTH numbers above carefully before committing.
Trading futures involves substantial risk, and no evaluation guarantees a funded account or a payout. Choose the plan whose rules match how you actually trade.
