FTMO Futures plan comparison

Best FTMO Futures plan: PRO vs GROWTH

FTMO Futures launches with two plans, PRO and GROWTH, each in 50K, 100K and 150K. Both are monthly subscriptions, neither charges an activation fee, and both use end-of-day trailing drawdown with no intraday trailing. The best FTMO Futures plan for you depends on one question above all others: do you want more drawdown room and better payout terms, or a lower monthly cost and fewer restrictions during the evaluation?

Updated: September 30, 2026. There is no discount code for FTMO Futures, so this comparison is purely about rules and price-to-rules value.

Best overall pick in FTMO Futures

PRO 50K: 1:1 ratio, 100% withdrawals and a $5,000 cap, at $139/month (official price). No code needed

When PRO is the right choice

PRO is the plan to pick when drawdown room and payout terms matter more to you than the monthly price.

Three things separate it. First, the profit-target-to-drawdown ratio: 1:1 on the 50K, meaning a $3,000 target against $3,000 of maximum drawdown. FTMO describes that ratio as market-unique, and it is the reason PRO 50K is the strongest single account in this launch. Second, the withdrawal terms: 100% withdrawals with payout caps of $5,000, $6,000 and $8,000 by size, on a 90/10 ratio. Third, the drawdown mechanics: EOD trailing with no intraday trailing and a trailing lock at the starting balance.

The trade-off is the daily loss limit. On PRO it is hard on both the evaluation and the funded account ($1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 depending on size), and breaching it ends the account rather than pausing it. PRO also applies a 50% consistency rule during the evaluation, higher than GROWTH's 40%, so a single outsized session can hold up a pass even when the target is met.

Choose PRO if you already trade with defined invalidation points, size positions the same way every session, and want the drawdown room and payout terms that come with the higher subscription. Every rule by size is on the PRO plan page.

When GROWTH is the right choice

GROWTH is the plan to pick when you want a lower monthly commitment and fewer firm-imposed limits while you are proving yourself.

It starts at $119 a month on the 50K, uses industry-standard ratios (1.5:1 at 50K, 1.7:1 at 100K, 1.8:1 at 150K) and applies no daily loss limit at all during the evaluation. Only the maximum drawdown and the 40% consistency rule apply while you work toward the target. Once funded, the daily loss limit appears but it is soft: hitting it locks trading for that day and the account survives. For a trader whose results are uneven day to day, that failure mode is the single most valuable thing on this plan.

The trade-offs are on the money side. The maximum drawdown is tighter ($2,000 at 50K against PRO's $3,000), so there is less room to be wrong. Withdrawals are 50% rather than 100%, and payout caps run $2,500, $3,000 and $4,000 by size against PRO's $5,000 to $8,000. On the same profit, a GROWTH account returns less to you than a PRO account.

Choose GROWTH if the monthly cost is a real constraint, if you want the evaluation phase without a daily loss limit hanging over it, or if you value an account that survives a bad session over an account that pays more per cycle. Every rule by size is on the GROWTH plan page.

Pick by trader profile

The experienced futures trader with a defined risk process: PRO 50K

You already know where your stop goes before you enter, and a $1,000 hard daily loss limit is not something you expect to hit in normal conditions. In that case the hard limit costs you nothing and the 1:1 ratio, 100% withdrawals and $5,000 payout cap are the best terms in the lineup. Start at 50K rather than 100K or 150K: the ratio is at its best at 50K (1:1, versus 1.33:1 and 1.5:1 on the larger sizes), and the monthly cost is lowest. Scale up when your own numbers justify it, not before.

The trader with uneven daily results: GROWTH 50K

If your strategy takes several small losing days before a larger winning one (trend-following, breakout, session-based systems), the hard daily loss limit on PRO is a genuine risk to the account, not just an inconvenience. GROWTH removes the daily loss limit entirely during the evaluation and makes it soft once funded, so a bad session locks the day rather than ending the run. You accept a tighter $2,000 maximum drawdown and 50% withdrawals in exchange. At $119 a month it is also the lower monthly commitment of the two.

The trader optimising for payout size: PRO, at the size your results support

If you are already consistently profitable and the question is how much you can take out per cycle, PRO is the answer on every size: 100% withdrawals against GROWTH's 50%, and caps of $5,000 / $6,000 / $8,000 against $2,500 / $3,000 / $4,000. The eligibility bar is higher (5 qualifying days at $200, $300 or $500 or more depending on size, against GROWTH's 4 days at $150 or more on the 50K) and the cycle is 5 days rather than 4. Pick the account size whose per-day threshold your actual daily results clear comfortably, not the largest one available.

Final verdict

If you want one answer: PRO 50K is the best FTMO Futures plan overall. The 1:1 profit-target-to-drawdown ratio, 100% withdrawals, the $5,000 payout cap and EOD trailing with a lock at the starting balance make it the most complete account in the launch, and the 50K is the size where its ratio advantage is largest.

GROWTH 50K is the better pick if the $119 monthly price matters, if you want an evaluation with no daily loss limit, or if a soft funded daily loss limit that keeps the account alive is worth more to you than a higher payout cap.

Neither plan carries a consistency rule once funded, both allow up to three concurrent accounts, and both scale contracts identically at 5, 10 and 15. The decision really does come down to drawdown room and payout terms versus monthly cost and evaluation freedom. The best plan is not the largest account or the most expensive one: it is the plan whose rules match how you actually trade.

Trading futures involves substantial risk, and no evaluation guarantees a funded account or a payout. The full FTMO Futures review covers the rest of the analysis.

What is the best FTMO Futures plan?

PRO 50K, at $139 per month. It combines a 1:1 profit-target-to-drawdown ratio ($3,000 target against $3,000 maximum drawdown), 100% withdrawals, a $5,000 payout cap and EOD trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance. The trade-off is a $1,000 hard daily loss limit.

What is the cheapest FTMO Futures plan?

GROWTH 50K, at $119 per month with no activation fee. GROWTH is cheaper than PRO on all three sizes: $119, $169 and $229 per month against $139, $199 and $269. Its reset fee is also lower: $109, $159 and $219.

Which FTMO Futures plan has no daily loss limit?

GROWTH, during the evaluation. On the funded account GROWTH applies a soft limit of $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 that locks trading for the day without closing the account. PRO applies a hard limit in both the evaluation and the funded account.

Which FTMO Futures plan has the best profit-target-to-drawdown ratio?

PRO 50K, with a 1:1 ratio. On PRO the ratio is 1.33:1 at 100K and 1.5:1 at 150K. On GROWTH it is 1.5:1, 1.7:1 and 1.8:1 at 50K, 100K and 150K.

Which FTMO Futures plan lets you withdraw more?

PRO, on every size. It withdraws 100% against GROWTH's 50%, with caps of $5,000, $6,000 and $8,000 against $2,500, $3,000 and $4,000. In exchange, PRO requires 5 profitable days per cycle against 4 on GROWTH.

Do PRO and GROWTH have the same profit target?

Yes: $3,000 on the 50K, $6,000 on the 100K and $9,000 on the 150K on both plans. What changes is the maximum drawdown, which is wider on PRO ($3,000, $4,500 and $6,000) than on GROWTH ($2,000, $3,500 and $5,000).

Which FTMO Futures plan suits a trader with uneven daily results?

GROWTH 50K. It removes the daily loss limit during the evaluation and makes it soft once funded, so a bad session locks the day rather than ending the account. In exchange you accept a $2,000 drawdown and 50% withdrawals.

What consistency rule does each FTMO Futures plan have?

PRO applies 50% and GROWTH 40%, during the evaluation only. Neither plan applies a consistency rule on the funded account.
